>>>Jeg won Pro Stock titles in Memphis in 2000 and 2002. In 2000, he defeated the late Scott Geoffrion in the final. Jeg defeated Gene Wilson in the 2002 final. In both seasons he went on to win the NHRA POWERade Pro Stock championship.

>>>In addition to his two wins, Jeg also has a runner-up finish in 2003. That year, he also set low elapsed time of the event in Pro Stock.

>>>In nine career appearances at Memphis Motorsports Park, Jeg has a 23-7 round win record in Pro Stock competition.

>>>In 20 events this season, Jeg has two wins, four runner-ups, and five semifinal finishes to his credit. His round win record is 35-17. He has also reached at least the semifinals in five of the last six races.

<<<Following his runner-up finish at last week’s event in Dallas, Jeg has claimed the top spot in the NHRA POWERade Pro Stock standings for the first time since the Las Vegas event in April. Coughlin currently has a 14 point lead over Kurt Johnson with four races remaining in the Countdown to 1.

>>>After qualifying No. 1 at the most recent event in Dallas, Jeg is currently ranked fifth in the standings for the K&N Horsepower Challenge, a special $50,000 to win Pro Stock event that is held each year in Norwalk. Drivers qualify for the elite 8-car K&N Horsepower Challenge field by earning points during qualifying for each of the previous 23 NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series events.
