Just as I would have imagined, Courtney's pretty much got that thing in the bag. She's a good choice, especially being her sponsor's race, personally I voted for Wilkerson.

If I understood the press release correctly, they still draw from a pile of names in a bucket. The amount of pieces of paper with your name on it is determined by how many votes you have. So say Courtney gets 50% of the vote, 5 of the 10 pieces have her name on it. Hagan has 2, Arend has 2, etc... The others could STILL be pulled, but it's less likely.

Man they did their best to complicate this did'nt they. If they were gonna include the fan vote, then why not have the majority vote getter be the 8th spot??

Likely because if drivers like Tony Schumacher, John Force, Courtney Force, etc. had not won, they would be a shoe in for the fan vote. I guess even with that still being the case, if you are a fan of another driver you still have a shot at yours making it in.

Ok, I see yer point. But if thats the case, and they want everyone that did'nt make the first 7 to have a chance.... then forget the fan vote, put all that aren't top 7 in a hat, one chance each, and draw.
