Chasing Speed on VICE network tonite (1 Viewer)

This is the real emotion we want to see in NHRA drivers. I love seeing the behind the scenes things going on that we never see on the Fox broadcast or NHRA.tv.
I sure hope they finally fix the sound on nhratv, then i can subscribe. Sounds like a broken record i know...

It was good to see some of the old race footage good to see Jungle Jim back in the day. Great show Blake came across as a di**. It would be a lot better without all the pop-ups for other vice shows.

Unfortunately, Blake is often a di**. At Sonoma 2024, I captured some wild shots of the Pronto FC. Later in the pits I went to show Blake the sequence, and he pretty much blew me off. For years, every previous driver whom I showed action shots of them were genuinely excited and often asked for prints. DSC_0716.jpgDSC_0717.jpgDSC_0718.jpgDSC_0719.jpg

Not to be a smart a$$, but were the other previous drivers action shots of $100K+ of their own money disintegrating? 🤷‍♂️

not too sure about additional exposure for the nhra. i wonder where the money came from to produce this 5 part series?
and who was behind the money? if you google the vice channel, they are the 90th popular cable channel, with a primetime
viewership of around 30k, and as of today, episode 3 has been watched 16k on youtube, more than likely repeat viewers on both channels.

thanks for that link robin. i hope that interview will be listened to by many. great interview by kelly c. on racer.com.
i hope they are right, that there will be new eyes on the sport via the vice channel and their utube channel ....... wondering if this 6 part series will
show up anywhere else? ....... my favorite line from first 3 shows ...... erica to gray, 'i'm not your sweetheart'

I just wish the show could have been placed on a larger streaming platform. Amazon or Netflix could have made it a much bigger deal. Unfortunately the ones watching it now for the most part are NHRA fans already. I’m happy they did the show and are attempting to get more eyes on their product.
