Why don't they run the race in lanes 2 & 3?

Lanes 3 and 4 are closer to the higher rent reserved seat grandstands. The dragsteip was built for 3&4 to be primary.

If you used 2 and 3 they would be on separate trees and timing systems. The wall in between would prrevent drivers from seeing what what going on as well.

But doesn't a guardwall between the cars make the racing safer, as has been championed on here by various member so many times in the past?

Seeing that the track is already set up that way, why wouldn't this be the best place to try that experiment?

your super classes as well as comp and stock would hate it as racing the stripe is a huge factor in bracket racing

The crossing the center-line rule would have to be changed a bit.

sure, run them in lanes 2 & 3....why not.....or try it in qualifying.
