Changes to reaction times (3 Viewers)

The last two races have shown a remarkable positive change in driver reaction times. Has the been a change to the track timing equipment to start displaying some pretty unusual RTs, compared to the rest of the season?

Next week reaction times will be back to normal.

The last race and this race they have been using the Accutime system. Back to the usual use of Compulink after this race.

@Josh Hamming and @Kyle Wurtzel can articulate to this because I don't know enough about it. But Josh said they added .400 to the tree for this race???? Or something like that.

Remember, Accutime does not have the LED compensation function available like Compulink. The Pros actually run on a .370 tree because of the quicker LED bulbs. This weekend it’s a true .400 tree, so all these perfect lights would be .030 on a Compulink track.

They were supposed to make a change to the system this weekend, but I think it was still quicker than a Compulink system.

there was interview with hagan i think over the weekend, or maybe it was from martin. matt said something to the effect he
really didn't mind the quicker tree, that it forced racers to stage in shallow, and just race, no rolling in deep.
