Jim O has a big network of friends in TF and FC who will help him figure it out. I'm pretty sure he's safe for another year but next years will be time to show or go. I think he could use some help. They seem to be better when his Aussie buddy is there to help. I think JC is gone. Grubby is safe. Who else could he hire thats proven and available?

i would think todd okuhara and aaron brooks are safe with tasca. in fact i'm gonna say those two impressed me the most this year, followed closely
by neil strasbaugh and daniel wilkerson ...... i think there are more than a few folks out there that could call the shots if given the opportunity.
most of us don't know their names, but they're there, and ready. take a look at how many part timers come out and run great.....paul lee, dave richards,
kyle wurtzel, tj zizzo, s. massey, just to name a few ....... not sure what to think about m. neff and j. shaffer, they had a tough year w/schu.; they know what they are doing.
wonder if j. hart would consider bringing in someone to look at his program with r. douglas?

seriously thought she was gonna' be in line to learn the crew chief life in a few short years.....darn it.....as vaughn said, wish them all the best chasing their dream
I think homing in Indy was a selling point for her and she came from a background that was more oriented to roundy round stuff. She wanted to go to Nascar before coming to NHRA. She'll be going from being a pretty big fish in a small group to being a small fish in a much bigger pond at Indy car. Wish her the best

This is one of the most exciting times of the season right? The post season shuffle!

Re Millican/RWR, ……going way out on a limb with all this (more than I should).

I really hope Jim-O stays. I love that guy, his attitude and the positive energy he brings to the crew, not to mention his knowledge. Just a rough year. I don’t think he’ll be going away from RWR until his contract is up (so give it maybe 2 years? Just a guess), same for Clay. Just what I get from reading between the lines and I ain’t no crewchief. This is just my read on the whole Clay/RWR thing. They are my absolute favorite.

Will be interesting to see the composition of that team in ‘24, but I “predict” that besides Kaylynn, most, if not everyone will still be around. I wonder if they will get a new clutch person or promote Izzy/Zayne to clutch.

IF it goes as I think, and IF Jim-O stays, I expect Izzy to step up a notch and also Zayne-O, Blaine-O in particular, and Austin. They need a seasoned crew - they’ve got awesome people that have been trained for at least a year, and I hope they keep them.

OK I can eat these words (and will gladly do so) if there’s a shuffle, but as of now, this is my prediction.

Now I wonder if Cruz Pedregon will show up with a new team.

Don’t expect D. Wilkerson to go ANYWHERE ELSE the next couple years? That guy is awesome!

I love this s!@# !!!

I agree, the inability for Clay to get down the track sometimes without exploding is kind of baffling. Sheesh. Hope they figure it out, but I don’t think it’s Jim-O that’s the problem.

As far as Jim O goes.....I wouldn't even grade his results from the Doug Stringer days with much weight. From what I hear, it seems like the quality of parts compared to the RWR era is night and day. He gets good parts and look at their success this year.....multi-race winners. Now they've got a year of good data to build on next year. This is just the two cents of a super fan.....no real world knowledge or credibility. 😁

Stringer wanted a championship with a shoestring budget

I love Doug Stringer! He did what he could, but it got to the point where he couldn’t afford it and he knew it. Enter RWR. Now they need to s!@# and git already. Haha.
He must not have had much of a budget from his sponsors like rwr?

am not convinced that RWR has a large budget either.......larger than doug's probably, but not as much as some others.
parts plus and summit have been w/clay for quite a while. valvoline was on their car once this year too, i think indy?
this team lost the 'green hornet' guy last year, and now kaylynn. couple of smart people that probably see/saw slightly
higher dollar signs on the horizon. tough business.

Im glad rwr is out here,i thought main reason hornet left was bc of kloeber amd to start a business??

from 2015 thru 2020, cruz finished 9th once, 10th twice, 11th once, and 12th twice ....... then went 7th, 6th, and 9th w/JC and crew the last three years.
it's been widely commented on previously, cruz struggles to keep crew chiefs. no clue who he mite get for next year.

from 2015 thru 2021, clay finished an average of 8th, with a high of 3rd, and low of 11th ....... Jim-O came aboard 3/22 and team has finished 8th and 11th,
but the subtraction of points in ennis would have put the team finishing 7th or 8th ........ i'm a big kloeber fan, and wish he wouldn't have left, but unless he returns, i think Jim-O stays.

you are right jeremy, but at a certain point, everything in life comes down to the dollar.
i am thrilled that rick ware came drag racing, and will be back next year, and hopefully after that; and i hope they can continue to build their program.
i just don't think at this time that their budget is on par with some of the other teams. i could be wrong.
