Perzactly : We all should know by now unless you reside in a barn that in Drag Racing you are in effect racing not only the other racer but the other racers money .
That has always been the case and the cause many quit racing professionally . You really have to do a lot of searching for sponsors and PR work for a little time on the track .
My caps off to those who provide the entertainment but I think the racing needs to be between two drivers not their money . That's the end IDK about the means .
We have eclipsed every record we can well beyond what could be called reasonably safe so where next .
I love the sport and love the cars but It's not too difficult to see short fields being the norm in the near future .
