California, The Winternationals, and the Double Double

Attended my first Winter nationals, after all these years and had the best time ever. Tried the much talked about 'In and Out Burger' and Lets just say, thank goodness that place is nowhere near, where i live, else i would end up 300lbs in no time. My friends couldn't believe how i could watch those nitro cars run without wearing earplugs. I just explained, After 50 years, u get used to it . Only disappointing thing is i had no idea it got that cold in Southern California. Brrrrrrrr

james, those double doubles provided a little insulation against those cool temps ........ pretty sure i'd have same problem; haven't had in-n-out food either.
