They stopped the race for awhile. Track emt/ safety team had to help with a medical emergency in the pits.I had to leave before q2

Thanks to all for posting the updates and the home-spun live feed links.

I'm puzzled why we continue to get a good turnout of AA/FC cars but the AA/FD turnout has been very marginal for years. Justin - any insights on this?

And now we have the Nostalgia Camaro class!
Racers are racers, always going to gravitate toward the most effective design. I'm assuming for NFC, the latest version '69 Camaro must be the way to go. Funny thing is, when I think of the coolest old FCs, '69 Camaros are not what comes to mind. I love the era of Vegas, Monzas, Mustang II's, and Arrows. All the cars that made crappy street cars but badass FCs!

Even though the Pro Mod '69 Camaro and Trans Am body appears to be the slickest, the number one qualifier is running a "boxy" '70.5 Camaro, and reset the ET records, just barely. Also, I believe they are very close to the speed record.

As for the low car counts in NTF, the class has had half the normal entries since NFC had it's own points class, which was in the late 2000's. Right now we have a few cars being repaired, a few that are tired of spending money, a few teams that are changing classes, and a few car owners that packed it up. I believe we will see the 5-10 car count for a few more years, and then things will pick up a little bit again, probably with new blood. The heavy West Coast schedule is also part of the problem. The Central states have more race ready cars than the West Coast right now, and very few events to support them. My current count of race ready NHRA Heritage legal cars is right at 28. Another seven are for sale (including mine), another four or five are in the works (one is licensing at the CHRR this weekend), another seven or eight are parked, and another seven are outlaw cars that are running Nitro Chaos. There is no one or two things to point the finger at.
