Bye-bye Blount

I think what that means is that the lower funded teams don't have the resources to test for figuring out the balance, so they only have the limited number of runs during a race to do that.

Like they did to Mike Dunn?!?

I love Mike Dunn
Dave Reiff is great, he asks alot of great questions and Mike Dunn was always good at keeping up and sounding educated with a cool voice, non irritating and smooth.

Indeed. Mike Dunn has been one of the people I look up to in all of drag racing and has been for years. In fact, recently I was unpacking some posters and stuff I'd had for years to hang on the wall of my new garage and I came across a signed fan card from Mike when he drove Gwynn's T/F car. As I hung it up, I couldn't help but think about him and how he's the best TV analyst ever, one of the best drivers ever and despite that, he's not on TV. I'd like to know the back story of why he's not, because I'm betting it's some petty reason someone at NHRA got their feelings hurt and decided they'd show Mike. Guess who's suffering for it? We the fans...

I was watching some of the IHRA broadcast on ESPN3 this weekend and Mike was a little rusty on the microphone in front of the camera but he loosened up by the end of the show. I also miss him in the booth also.
