I was a bit surprised to say the least. It looks like someone outside of drag racing noticed us for once.

Terry Blount is not a drag racing outsider. Terry used to work for the Houston Chronicle and then moved to Dallas and worked for one of the papers there and always covered our races in Texas. Since going to work for espn.com, he has been to several NHRA races every year.

Terry is a nice guy who likes drag racing.

Yeah I just realized that he's done quite a bit of NHRA coverage. Still, nice to see our guys mentioned on ESPN in an article not about Nascar.
