We have better weather and the spot where the Strip at LVMS was already levelled off, but the dragstrip was poured in November/December 2000 and cars were running on it in March 2001 and we had our first National Event in April 2001. That's right, we went from gravel lot to National Event facility in 120 days ... I have no doubts Bruton's gang can duplicate the feat in Charlotte as long as the weather holds over the winter ...
