Don't you just love how the guy who wrote the article describes a drag strip as creating ear splitting noise, and that the nearby homes just needed to be protected from this type of thing. Guys like this make my skin craw, and they use media to portray this type of garbage. He seemed to fail to mention the special measures that are being taken to suppress noise at this new, state of the art facility. This is a classic case of one persons opinion being expressed in a manner that our opinion on drag racing would never be allowed.
