No kidding! I thought early 30s only because she's been racing so long. Good for her.
Man it looks like John is having a hard time with it, which is totally understandable. The first 3/4's of the video it looks like someone shot his dog and I'm sure that's how he feels in the moment even though he wasn't surprised. Painful stuff getting old (especially with neuro challenges which complicates every facet of life, especially emotions and processing change) and watching the world around you change so quick.

they said a replacement will be announced later. In a follow up interview with Brit she said that she will continue to follow the team next year.
Has he ever said R+l had left him? I would bet they would be very happy to be on the side of a very high profile John Force Racing team car.

My sister made the decision to have a kid at age 40. Wasn't easy...had to do IVF and several tries until she had my nephew. He just started driving this year and is getting interested in cars. So Britt starting now is a good choice.
Not such a good choice would be J Hart in her car. He turned me off when he had that spat with Britt and her team in his TF debut.
Vandergriff is a better choice, and he did well in Shawn Reed's ride. Another good choice would be.... Dean Skusa

These days a big part of getting and retaining a sponsor is a driver with a lot of personality. Someone who is good on camera, verbal and engaging. Beckman is a great example. Hart seems like a nice guy and has done well in the seat, but he just seems a little more low-voltage compared to other options out there.
When that low voltage driver who is a very successful businessman and a solid if not flamboyant personally can bring a seven digit sponsorship with him does that turn up the juice a little bit?? Fourteen gallons of personality in the fuel tank won't get the car down the track very well

I figured if we saw Autumn Hight in. TAD that'd be the sign Brit was close to retiring. Looks like I was wrong. Hopefully the car keeps going. I enjoy Grubby tuning.
