wonder if money has been offered for performance secrets yet?
whatever it is, it will get out eventually. hope kb/titan can hold their advantage a while longer.
i still don't think it's just a wheel/tire thing. i hope someday us minions will learn what was(is) going on.

Also you: more than likely the public will never know why they quit mid-season. they don't owe anyone an explanation. mite seem like they do,but they don't.

in the first instance i'm referring to the current PS situation. maybe someday we'll find out what the advantage is/was that kb/titan currently enjoys.
much in the same manner kenny bernstein and armstrong figured out the modern clutch in late 80's before anyone else. nobody knew what they
were doing. then eventually the cat was out of the bag, and everyone knew.

in the second instance i'm referring to salinas dropping off the tour. IMO no racer owes the public an explanation why they race or do not race.

it's not like secrets haven't been revealed before. Back in the mid 2000's, Greg Anderson was winning every race on calendar, until his combo was apparently being shared with other teams. While I dont have any first hand knowledge, but about the same time the KB's info got shared, there was the emergence of Cagnazzi racing ie Erica Enders, who went from non qualifiers to running neck and neck with Greg. That's the beauty of a Bob Glidden and Warren Johnson. They did it all themselves and therefore did not have to worry about anyone talking.
