I would LOVE to see a Front Engine Dragster be competitive again. But I think the rule book states Rear Engine only in T/f T/a ??

Yes, but, it doesn't look anything like an old-school FED, or a present day "Nostalgia" FED either. It's basically a funny car chassis with a real long front half. Now make it look like a proper 1970-era FED and you have my attention.

For that matter, I'd like to see a similar retro-FED in Top Dragster. And why not? They don't all have to look like hopped-up Super Comp cars, do they?

That’s pretty much what it ran in testing and at the couple IHRA races that they ran it at last year. Looked good!
