This is a way to get people's attention

I debated about getting the Friday fever and heading down to check it out instead of heading to work. That stupid work ethic thing got in the way though. Looked cool, although I was surprised that they didn't put any barriers up, just in case.

Hey now guys, be nice to my city :) While it does needs lots of work, it also is an easy target by people who don't know and like to kick while down.

...waiting for someone to chime in how dangerous that was and how people could have been killed and how hearing loss is now an issue, etc....
To be honest, I was surprised that they didn't have any type of barriers up. After seeing his fire incident a few years ago it was on my mind. Not that a little concrete wall would stop him but at least it would look good.

I was disgusted that they allowed that.

Actually, that is probably one of the safest things wou will see in the streets of Detroit these days.

What, are you telling me what I have seen on Detroit SWAT isn't true? :D

PJ, I have talked to a few Jet car drivers and keeping those things stopped while they Pop the Afterburner isn't a problem! I'm Suprised they didn't have a Bigger crowd, I guess all the Welfare/Foodstamp crowd was still in bed!

They did it at 11:30 am during the week. Couldn't grab the kids out of school, not really worth taking the time off work and the local lunch crowd wouldn't have been in the area yet
