And I believe Scott had 2 kids. I think a son Corey is one - not sure about the other. I believe Corey has worked as a crew member off and on over the years, but have never heard about him possibly driving at some point. He is probably about the same age as Mitchell. Some on here will know more I'm sure.

Yes I believe he has two sons. Colin and Corey. I had heard at one time that their mom would not let them follow in their dad’s footsteps. That is what I heard some time ago. I also read somewhere that Doug would take over the Motorsports program when needed.

well, the car count for BIR is hovering at the 400 mark. next week will round out the fields.
wondering if jamie noonan w/samsel racing, or mcphillips racing will attend BIR? (melanie johnson or rich mcphillips jr.)
it would be great to see alan bradshaw/doucette racing get a diamond wally.
hoping at least a couple more comp cars enter to get to at least an 8 car field.
the a/ea of brian stufflebeam is often a late entry. his son-in-law drove it to a win over bruno a few years ago, returned
the following year with the same final with bruno getting the win

He ran one of DelsFCs car in IHRA last year.
Although I didn't hear it first hand, my dad saw an interview a few years ago (maybe 8 or so, pretty sure it was pre-covid), in which, when asked a similar question, Connie had stated they "have a succession plan in place", or something very close to that. Nothing was elaborated on then or since, to my knowledge.

Brainerd National is in 2 weeks. Double Divisional there next weekend.

word from track is stacking is over a mile long, wrapping around road course. parking begins at noon today.
nhra with new paddock rules this year. only tow rig, trailer, and (1) auxilary vehicle allowed.
any other crew members with separate camper and/or auxilary vehicles will not be allowed to park with team/car in the paddock.
they must purchase camping on spectator side, either family reserved or zoo general camping.
