I believe that was the BIR track announcer. For sec, i thought Alan Reinhart returned to NHRA. The guy announcing sounded exactly like him!
bode's own carIs Bode in the family car this weekend? Or is he still driving with Worsham?
Doug Kalitta was 3 days late on the tree and threw away a great 3.67 in the T/F Challenge Final. Not like Doug to be late on the tree.
Are you saying that Matt Bynum is the Crew Chief for Hunter Green?Noticed the last 2 or 3 ? races that Blake Alexander is at the starting line with Hunter Green's Pronto team. Guess he got demoted from driving but he does have some tuning skills. Matt Bynum laid down a #3 in Q4, that team is going to be fun to watch the rest of the year.
I think Blake has been at every race since his incident. I'm guess Pronto grounded him until he gets his legal problems taken care of.Noticed the last 2 or 3 ? races that Blake Alexander is at the starting line with Hunter Green's Pronto team. Looks like Schaeffler grounded him too. His clothes only say “CGR”. No Schaeffler or Pronto branding.I think Blake has been at every race since his incident. I'm guess Pronto grounded him until he gets his legal problems taken care of.

Yeah, I really like Doug and AJ. I’ll never bet against them, esp. with them ripping off 3.65s all the time. And even though they did beat Clay, I still am happy for Doug. The two best crew chiefs in the business won fc and tf. Go figure. And of course no one should bet against those drivers. Good show.
My guess is despite running 3.85 and .86 in the previous two rounds he knew he was facing a low 3.80, 340mph competitor in the final and Venebles simply turned up the wick a bit too much. Turned out it wasn't necessary as Prock's car wasn't quite on its game in either the semis or the final.- not sure what happened to jr todd in final. those guys were on it the first three rounds yesterday.
