to be honest, it seems John Medlin was bounced around within the team for the past year and he just wants to call the shots so this could be that shot in the arm he feels he needs. He might have been waiting on the decision of the 4th Force car and now big John is hauling, I doubt he would consider putting Mike Neff back behind the wheel.

We may never know the exact reason for leaving JFR to go to DSR.

Was it a slap in the face to choose Neff to tune John's car? Maybe...maybe not.
Is John cutting back on expenses in the "hired help" area? Maybe...maybe not.
Did DSR offer a nice big package deal to JM? Probably.

I wonder where Donnie Bender will end up. He told me that he'll be with Snake for another year helping to liquidate. But he did mention to me on the phone that he's going to Europe to race some this year. If I had the money to put a top fuel team together, Donnie would be my first choice.
That reminds me...I need to run down to the store and buy more lottery tickets.

The article doesn't make it sound like John Medlen has left JFR, just that he is working with Lee Beard on a safety issue.

I thought this whole rumor thing was about John Medlen leaving???? Where did all this KBR stuff come from? I honestly dont see Medlen leaving Force Racing what with everything that has happened (The Eric Medlen project, the safety stuff.) Just doesnt make sense to me.

Perhaps John will be working at DSR on this project. Not leaving JFR. He has more time now that he is not working on a single car.
