I can imagine Big in a nitro injected. It would be more cost efficient and safer speed wise. I just want to know how he got his wife to agree with this. Unless he is just car owner, like he did with Larsen, and then maybe he will be racing top fuel.....hmmmm.....keeping us guessing like he always did!

I would really doubt this happening. Garlits stopped driving because his ophthalmogist (eye doctor) told him he had a detached retina and if he continued to drive would most likely go blind. This is the same reason Joe Amato stopped driving.

That was back in '91 or '92. Since then he has been back for 6-8 races in Top Fuel. A few in Gary Clapshaws car and the 4 he was "allowed" to run in his own.
