You would have never known Beckman blew up by watching the program monday...jeez how many times did they show it 20-25 wish they would have thrown some sportsman in there.

can't help but think capp's BIR winner's paycheck and beckman's traxxas
winner's paycheck mite just help the two teams break even from their loss
of bodies and parts.....dsr FC's having very similar failures recently

One race with body restraints, and we're right back to "come see the NHRA and see this type of destruction!!!"

I think the NHRA needs a Quaalude.

One thing I am impressed with is the way the body blows off now with the new latches. The front stays on but the back pivots back on the rear body mounts then falls off onto the track behind.

Saying Beckman;s body fell off the back to the track leaves out a bit of the trip the body (pieces) took.

haha yeah but what I meant was it got the body off so the driver was out in the open and not contained in a fire/boomer.

It would have been really bad with the tethers. Beckmann thanked NHRA for letting them take them off.
