I dunno, it seems that, as good as he is commentating, it seems to have hexed Mike Dunn's driving career. I hope the same thing doesn't happen to Whit.

I saw him today in the pits around 12:30 when I was walking around during the rain delay chatting with a couple folks. I thought about taking a pic but my Nikon is pretty conspicuous so it's obvious when I'm snapping a photo. I'm sure I'll catch him again.

I had hoped he was there to announce a driving deal. But I guess given the state of the economy and how hard it is for several other drivers to land rides a TV deal makes more sense.

Drag racing is better with Whit at the track, IMO.

At the track yesterday:
Dust storms, Rain, Blackouts, Wind, Oil downs, Cold

When The Evil (Whit) one comes, so does the Holocaust.

Just Gods way of telling Whit to stay home.

I wonder if Ron will get an interview?

Funny you should mention that, my buddy Pete was there yesterday and mentioned that he was interviewing at the Ron's pit! He did mention that Ron was not in the area.

I'm sure when Mr DeVita gets home he'll have a comment... and perhaps a few more stories to tell...
