I was disappointed that, in the two photos that showed the grandstands, they were practically empty. Not a good look.

I was disappointed that, in the two photos that showed the grandstands, they were practically empty. Not a good look.

Well the first was the non pitside at Charlotte and the other was pro stock qualifying during the 4wide in Vegas. I would compare it to the upper deck of any sport and the 4th quarter of a blowout NFL game. Most stands empty out following the nitro cars. Bandimere was one of the few that remained fairly full for PS and PSB.

I should have hoped better pictures would have been chosen showing fuller stands. For all those Autoweek readers not so familiar with drag racing, empty stands do not show the sport in its best light.
