Thanks Richard. I had the same problem as Jenn...........while I was out back, my son shut me down. He said it sounded like a busy signal on the phone but I thought he was messing with me.

Reinhart advised to vacate the stands, so I doubt they're racing. Apparently the audiocast is 'dial-up'?

They're drying the track.
The broadcast center at Yahoo calls the track to establish the connection. When they disconnected on the track's end (it's in the same electronics rack as the PA system mixers) what you heard was the usual phone company "phone off the hook" recording at the broadcast center's end since their end was still open.
