At Firebird on Thursday

Since my flight leaves Phoenix on Friday, I hope to be wandering the Firebird pits on Thursday. Does anyone know if that is allowed? I hope so! Unfortunately, it appears I will not be able to delay my departure until Sunday.

My dad's in line to be pitted now. I guess they are checking racing credentials as they recommend you print them from home now.

Ah yes the new wonderful nhra online tickets! They are such a joke as we found out in pomona! For the driver you have to have one to even park your rig then when you go to do the restriceted and all that insted of making it easy on you and giving you a ticket to just stick in your firepants you have to carry a whole sheet of paper around cause they just stamp driver on it and put ur sticker on it! But you gotta put in in a holder or the paper get ruined and since that is your ticket that cant happen! Its just become a true pain instead of making things easier!

Nope, I leave tonight. Figured we'd send Dad ahead with the rig so he can get the cars through tech since they run us right off the bat Friday morning.

That way I don't have to miss my finance class either.
