Tim Hay, of the Outlaw Fuel Altered Assoc, passed on after a bad accident in Eddyville last night. I didn't know Tim, but apparently a great family guy and his family served as the crew. My thoughts and prayers are with them.

I read an eyewitness account online saying the driver broke lose from the car.
Hard to believe but possible I guess. Could this be another safety issue?

Seems like the driver's compartment was torn in half. Aren't the chassis checked for stress cracks or something?
