Not me Bobby, i wouldn't bet against AA/Dale. I've been a fan of his from back in the "Alcoholic"days.

So now theres an "energy drink" battle since there isnt a "beer battle" anymoreI wonder what kenny thinks of this , he is probably sitting in his trailer thinking damn I should have asked dale first.
nice pics of the rockstar energy drinks funny car on nhra.com. AJPE on the spoiler, alan johnson performance engineering, im guessing a.j still has a stake ( no pun intended bobby miller) in the toyota body. why wouldnt a.j want to tune toliver then, it would make pefrect sense. unless its the $$ .

Well I dont want to be negative about this but what exactly is the deal? I mean the fact that there is no date on when they will be hitting the track seems a little suspect to me. And if Im not mistaken the body on that Toyota is one of the cars Jerry ran back in '04 and not the new Solara body that Jim Head and Scott Kalitta are running? This could be because those bodies are in limited production?? But regardless this seems a little like smoke in mirrors to me at this point.
I do however wish Jerry and Dale the best of luck if they have got the funding in place.
You are kidding, right???![]()

I was told at Pomona that they are Trying to make it to Gainesville, but Houston or Vegas might be more realistic.
I'm surprise Red Bull hasn't thrown any money at Drag racing yet. This sport kinda reflects its 'out there' image.
The have just thrown $$$$$ at NASCR@P establishing their own TOYOTA team, currently own 2 F1 teams and spend big in Motorsport world wide.
I expected the Toliver announcement to be Red Bull not Rockstar.

I read an interesting article about Red Bull not only sponsoring the NASCAR team but also owning everything. No big associate sponsor stickers plastered everywhere...
