We often see doom and gloom here so it is good to point out the positive as well.

It was great to see Zizzo and Brogdon show up with some name sponsors but also non traditional ones at that. NHRA also did good promoting and welcoming them as well.

"And I'll tell you this place has been packed all weekend."

you must have been at a different track than I was Saturday, that was the least number of people I have ever seen there on Saturday this year, and I have been there a ton of times!

Are you serious? I was there on Saturday and the stands were 90-95% full for the first session and the Traxxas Shootout. It thinned a little for the second session, and even fewer stayed until the last Super Gas car went down the track around 10pm. However as soon as we walked in the gate you could tell the pits/concessions were packed.

Sunday looked thin due to the poor weather outlook, and Friday looked thin, but Saturday was packed.

I sat on the West stands and the Pro Pit stands were really full for the Fuel cars, and empty all other times it seemed!

At one point Saturday I looked out and saw the stands very full and the fences as well. This weekend people moved around a TON. It started to rain so many times we lost count, this truly was the Miracle Nationals, I never expected this event to finish before Tuesday.

It was great so see TJ getting so much air time for Rustoleum. Hate that it was at the expense of the big boom...would rather have seen him in the finals....but hey, air time is air time.

I don't know how large the crowd looked from the seats...but from out on the track it looked like a packed house on Sat. You could here a lot of excitement from the fans when some really good numbers were thrown down on all the days.
