nice to see 56th annual as part of advertising for this years race.
5 TAFC's entered, 3 are of nitro variety.
alexis entered in banderos toyota fc. ida not on tf list yet. (thought there was chance she would switch to tf)
team pontiac supposedly making official debut in orlando this weekend, will joe drag it up to babies too?
442 entries for gators already and growing. will be a great race. hope for good weather.

Minus one Toyota and add a Dodge.

So, 1-Torrance and 1-Salinas entered. Interesting, neither of those family teams have any financial problem, guess they just wanted to slow down some.
By the way who is chassis builder PBRC?

good piece by john kernan on the PBRC guys. wonder why jr is only one on gators FC entry list that lists his chassis maker, instead of toyota?
capps not only lists car as '25 Toyota, but also engine as TOYT 500

terry, the jist of my comment is why does jr call his body PBRC instead of toyota

Sounds like they just listed the "make" as the chassis instead of the body. The Kalitta dragsters are all PBRC, so assuming whoever filled out the entry form followed suit with the dragsters.

Pretty sure Steve announced he's sitting this year out. As for Salinas he's always put business as his number one priority so that could be the reason.

While we're on the topic of F/C bodies, who is making them these days? I seem to recall for a number of years it was Jack Roush and his Roush Composites that was a big supplier. Is that still true? Or, maybe is PBRC making F/C bodies now? We hear about vendors/suppliers for most of the parts on these T/F and F/C cars, but not so much with the F/C bodies.

It's up to the team member that enters the cars to decide how it's listed, whether by body manufacturer or chassis builder or whatever. If the teams are paying for the bodies now, they're likely not going give credit to the car manufacturer that the body represents.
