babies have started. great to listen to alan's call of STK Q1 this morning. just a little bit of drag racing in the sunshine state this time of year.
not to route for anyone in particular, but it would be cool to see josh hart double up this weekend and defend his call-out title.
orlando sick week ....... bradenton us street nationals ....... bradenton pro shootout ....... orlando div. 2 opener ....... gainesville NMRA ford spring break shootout
gainesville babies ....... bradenton WSOPM ...... gainesville gators

Curious who would be the one DNQ in each class when they line up first round on Monday off last years points?
good question!
TF: coin flip between tatum and reed? tatum would get nod as he most recently scored points?
FC: coin flip between wilkerson and prock? prock most recently scored points, but daniel in FC, so daniel would get nod?

holy cow batman. didn't stan used to run with remax sponsorship? or real estate of some sort?, and les back then too......stan has a great accent, eh.
He had Remax on the car at one time and I think Dynam was another sponsorship he had. I think he sold all of his stuff to Cy Chesterman and Les helped him get started.

26 pro mods on entry list. 32+ plus this last weekend @ bradenton. enormous amount of pro mods out there. trying to learn differences,
that allow cars to switch from radial, to big tire 1/8 mile, to outlaw, to big tire nhra........does PM run to 1000' or 1320' in nhra trim?
lot of names from bradenton last weekend that are not listed for gainesville. this class seems to be very organized when they need to be,
and put on one hell of a show. even the mtn. motor pro stock cars last weekend put on a great show.
what's everyone's opinion of this class as their part of nhra national events?

odd to look at entry lists for STK and SS and notice there really aren't a lot of FL based racers.

looks like they have all the nitro teams in one big, long line. with all the trailers and hospitality areas,
it's hard to believe about 20 years ago you had one trailer, one awning, one car.
here's a non-scientific count of teams and the number of parking spots they use.
kalitta-17 ....... jfr-14 ..... TSR-12 ..... scag-12 ...... capco-8 ..... cruz-6+? ..... tasca-6 ...... jcm-6 ..... capps-5 ..... ant-6
that is 75 parking spots for 17 cars. i get it. the gators are most likely one of the races where everyone pulls out all
the stops for hospitality. it certainly was not like this at the shootout, nor could it have been. the trailers were
immediately behind the bleachers. so cars on the track in front of you, and nitro warmups immediately behind you

even the sportsman pits; double stackers and either large motorcoaches or semi-coaches with maximum slideouts.
3-axle chapperal and 1-ton pickup is the new slumming these days
