Noticed the car get sideways Friday qualifying session as well. Reminds me of the issues Wilkerson was having a few years back

Glad he is OK. I was following live timing from NHRA & realized something had gone wrong. Scary video. Hope the chassis can be repaired & they find another body.

I believe he just built a brand new back up, but with needing a new body and many other things, it'll take a few bucks to rebuild. Hope he's back soon, he and his team are great for the sport.

What a horrible deal for his team. I follow them closely and love their passion. Alex builds his own chassis in his tiny home garage, his brother builds the motors down the street in his garage and friends and family help where they can. It reminds me of the 70's, just with way more expensive equipment.

I wish Alex and team luck and hope they rebound soon.

Seen on FB he's selling his other Toyota body and will be getting some Mustang bodies.

I talked to one of the crew guys on Sunday and they were already planning on retiring the Toyota bodies after Pomona and were planning on picking up two Mustang bodies before Vegas. They also had another chassis about 50% finished. I hope they can still make Vegas in a month.

I was surprised, looking at photos of Pomona, how many teams run a Mustang body. Most are older bodies & most teams that run them are "low buck", but nice to see Mustangs out there.
