Watched the new episode with Lee Beard. Awesome show! This guy brought a ton of stuff to drag racing that I think many didn't know including myself. A definite Must Watch!

there have been a few incidents over the years that have driven barrier improvement, and most seemed
'stupid' like BIR, but only after the fact.

fell asleep watching the lee b. interview last night. i seem to remember lee being involved with the
middle spill plates on FC rear deck spoiler? i think he may have been with dsr at the time? and maybe whit specifically?
does lee talk about this at all?

One of my favorite rivals with Force in history was that Beard/Bazemore duo, especially 2001 US Nats and onward - ALMOST got it, but Force found his way back. Was a lot of fun to watch! The video where Bazemore is leaning against the car with that LOOK!

I don't remember which race it was, but it was around this same time frame. Whit had beaten Force, and he was getting interviewed at the top end after the race, and Force came up to Whit and whoever was conduction the interview and just started talking. Whit told him to get lost because this was HIS interview.

Great Job Alan. Always respected Lee. Would have loved to hear more about the streamliner. Hard to even scratch the surface of his accomplishments.
