Alan Parsons Roswell NM

Nice stuff, Martin. I wish I could've figured out a way to get there but there was just no hope.

Are y'all travelling with your own production gear or spec'ing it out and having it provided at / by the venue?

Hey Martin
I think there are a few pics in your collection that our Government may want to talk to you about... :D

Lock the doors and muzzle the dogs... ;)

Not that lucky, Tom- every day we are in one-off mode... Picture racing Top Fuel, and at every event, you get a new car, new team, new combination, etc... And your boss expects the same consistancy ...

I am lucky that I have built good working relationships with vendors around the planet, so I try and hook them and the show promoters up together for a little bit of consistancy. But then this weekend we add in gags like 3 laser systems and a 40' diameter lighted flying saucer suspended from a 125' crane, plus the start of the monsoon rain season here, and the day takes on a kind of roller coaster feeling..:p

Next time we get close, I'll let you know- we owe Jenn a show in Albuquerque!!!

And RG- tell those Gov't boys to get their butts over here- I have my own set of questions for THEM!!! :D

Martin, nice pics. I have no idea Parsons was even going to be there! I went to the 50th anniv. UFO deal back in '97 down in Roswell cause the local Media made it out to be HUGE! And it was a total bust! At the UFO Museum 90% of the folks there were media, how were the crowds?

Weather (as you know) is making outside activities sketchy at best (we had 2 days of rain delays), and the concert crowd for us and WAR was about 4-5 thousand... I heard that they were doing pretty brisk business on the crash site tours, and the hotels were sold out everywhere (I can't REMEMBER the last time I stayed in a Motel 6- they REALLY need Internet...:p).. Overall, the town made some $$$ and people had some fun..

Dang Martin! Good looking show! The laser looked pretty cool!

I planned on a visit cause I was in Carlsbad already.
I had to go back to the metroplex for a Dr's appointment so I had to leave.
Did spend quality time in the not high enough mountains to get nose bleed.
A friend promised me a tour of the crash site when I have the time.
I say why not I'm an expert at wasting time viewing scenic mountain vistas.
Could be a an unconscious wish to get closer to God ?
Nah I got a thing for mountains cause I spend too much time on flat water.
