O’FALLON, MO (March 9, 2011) – Pro Nitrous driver Jim Halsey and Extreme Pro Stock competitor Brian Gahm will the be featured guests on the ADRL’s weekly online show, “ADRL Drag Racing Live,” presented by Summit Racing Equipment. The ADRL also has a special announcement scheduled for the program.
The entertaining 90-minute broadcast airs live every Thursday at 9 p.m. EST on the ADRL website, ADRL.us :: American Drag Racing League and also on ADRL Drag Racing Live | Internet Radio | Blog Talk Radio. Every archived show is available on-demand on the ADRL website as well.
“ADRL Drag Racing Live” is hosted by ADRL Television personality Bret Kepner and ADRL Director of Media and Communications Josh Hachat. They break down the latest news and happenings in the world’s premier eighth-mile drag racing league, and it is the only weekly show that is 100 percent devoted to the ADRL.
Halsey is the current world speed record holder in the competitive Pro Nitrous class, as he went 198.99 miles per hour during a 2010 season where he finished second in the points standings. Halsey also recently went a 3.79 in testing and will surely discuss that successful preseason performance on the show.
Gahm, a longtime Extreme Pro Stock standout, will talk about his plans for the 2011 season, as well as his hopes to win his first ADRL World Championship in the impressive class.
The special announcement scheduled for Thursday comes on the heels of the ADRL announcing purse and payouts increases for 2011 and an added race date at Memphis International Raceway on previous shows.
Thursday’s broadcast will also look ahead to the upcoming 2011 ADRL season, which starts March 25-26 with CarSafe Dragpalooza VII presented by LenMar Motorsports at Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown, Texas.
