Really, guys, the horse is dead. How many ways can you hear it? He CANNOT say he took a dive or it would confirm he broke the rules, the NHRA would take the win away and defeat the purpose. So he's not going to EVER say he definitely dove or didn't one way or the other. In public, in private, ever.
Agree horse is dead. So difficult not to comment about it though because everyone is talking about it.
The dead horse is going to get beaten to a pulp after the next race because its all they're going to talk about at least until next year.

You'll probably agree even if he did say he didn't dive, most wouldn't believe him anyway - so why bother right?
My personal view of it is that if he doesn't at least go on record as saying he did not lose on purpose, it makes him look guilty. For what it's worth I have no reason to think he is a liar.
