My idea for this is, each time they are in Concord, let the 4 quickest first round losers each in F/C & Top Fuel run for a prize of 20k each right before the finals for the nitro cars. Maybe even do the same for Promod & Pro Stock at 10k. No points awarded, winner take all.

Man this could make Sundays at this event a must see.

This is show business baby!:D

Sounds like a fun idea to me, but I don't know where the prize money would come from since such a spectacle probably would not increase the gate draw by much. They would need a corporate sponsor : How about the Torco Losers' Showdown

I like that idea Craig. It may be tough to get the money like Brad said but it would be cool for the run to actually mean something.

Why not have the race be a 4 wide event and have a double header?

No more runs compared to currently but everybody gets a second crack at winning. They have 4 lanes at Zmax, figure out how to use them for something other than exhibitions.

Why not alternate lanes throughout the event? That way, you would have continuous action.
As soon as one pair of cars finishes in one set of lanes, fire up another pair of cars in the other set of lanes.
The round pairings would be by lane set.
However, if somebody should oil a lane, then all racing would have to stop.
I wouldn't want to be on the Safety Safari while fuel cars were running, even if they were in the other set of lanes.
