2015 Charger FC Introduced

Admittedly, I don't follow the sport that closely anymore, so can someone please tell me how the hp rating jumped 2000 points in a year or two? I seem to remember up until recently they were touting 8,000 hp. Will they be 12,000 by the Winters?

It's hard to calculate the horsepower on the Dragsters and Funny Cars. A couple years ago the Kalitta camp put sensors on their dragster and came up with an astronomical figure of the horsepower being produced. The NHRA has been touting 8,000 horsepower for years. It was definitely time for an updated number. Just in the last year or so with the set back blower the engines gained a lot of horsepower. Call it inflation.

so they changed the sticker for the grill?
Actually, there are quite a few differences in the body, too bad they didn't use the Hellcat model option, it looks much slicker imho, here's a 3D model I did of the Hellcat a couple of months ago:

Like maybe reducing the costs might entice more racers and sponsors? ...Think anyone in Glendora might cop a clue?
