ISC is a division of Nascar. The last place they tried to land was in the Bremerton/ Port Orchard area. They actually had perfect piece of property and an office in Bremerton for a year or so and really made an effort to get it done but to no avail. No where near enough support from local and state political circles. I guess they really didn't want the economic influx that Nascar would have brought along with it. Fools!
The majority of people here in Western WA state have little or no passion for Motorsports. I don't understand it. It hasn't always been that way.This place has been steadily changing for the last 10 or 15 years and not for the better as far as Motorsports is concerned. Too many tree huggers and earth muffins for my taste. My days here are numbered. Texas, here I come!!! I've got 2 1/2 years until I retire and then, I'm out like a trout as soon as I can sell the house and load up the stuff but that's a whole nuther' tough thing to manage nowdays.
