I was thinking about that and while I am not sure for certain but I think it is interesting in that it is less open these days, yet back then there were more cars.

Bonin took a wild ride and messed up that pretty '80 Trans Am body. That was the first year after the Bubble-Up deal went away. I can't get enough of these races. I've been burning up youtube for months watching these.
