Jay, you should bring your hot rod down there to John's race. It is one of the best of the AA/FA meets around, and John works his butt off to make sure it all comes off.

Does anyone know the Friday run schedule? I am driving in on Friday, 450 miles and I want to make sure that I don't miss the fuel qualifying. Thanks for the help--Bob

SCHEDULE (subject to change)

FRI., MAR. 6 - Gates open at 7 a.m. Qualifying and time trials: 8 a.m. Nitro qualifying: 2 p.m.

SAT., MAR. 7 - Gates open at 7 a.m. Qualifying, time trials and exhibition runs begin at 8 a.m. Nitro qualifying at 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.

SUN., MAR. 8 - Gates open at 7 a.m. (Note: Daylight savings time in effect). Exhibition runs occur throughout the day beginning at 8 a.m. Eliminations begin at 9 a.m. Opening Ceremonies begin at 10:45 a.m. Final Eliminations begin at 11 a.m. Winner’s Circle Awards at 5 p.m.

Sacramento Raceway Pre-March Meet testing report, February 28, 2009 at 1415PST. Drove by the track today, only a hand full of cars from what I could see, mostly regular trailered stuff. One large white rig and no known players observed from my vantage point, other than that unremarkable. As far as tomorrow is concerned their is a NHRA Chassis Works E.T. Series Event tomorrow March 1, 2009, and I don't see any testing going on let alone the event. I live just down the road from the track and it's just started to rain as of the time of this post. It is projected to rain here in Sacramento through this Friday, March 6, 2009. I would imagine if folks were going to get some hits in prior to the MM, they will need to head to the patch.
