Bob McDonald preparing Suzuki for Pro Bike & Sled Series

WOODSTOCK, ONTARIO (May 7, 2011) – Bob McDonald started his racing career on a motorcycle, then raced in several classes of cars, and has returned to racing a bike where he will be a competitor in the new Pro Bike & Sled Series for drag racing.

“I find it more economical to go fast on a bike,” he said. “It’s also easier on the wallet and a lot easier to work with a bike at the race track.

Roy Hill 24th annual O’Reilly Auto Parts NHRA Spring Nationals Wrap-up

(5-6-2011) SOPHIA, NC – In his first race in the Roy Hill / Phoenix Racing Super Stock Ford Cobra Jet owned by James Finch, hometown racer Dewayne Custer was the number one qualifier at the recently-completed 24th annual O’Reilly Auto Parts Spring Nationals held at Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown, TX, with an 8.615 on a 9.70 index. After taking the top-qualifier bye run in the first round, Custer’s day came to an early end at the hands of Bill Devine in round two.
