does GM and Ford have to respond or are we going to just keep using all the old stuff. Is MOPAR going to take back drag racing ? Will NHRA start imposing weight and other restrictions. Seems like MOPAR is diving back in pretty hard.
The new PS like the old days.

I don’t know what GM can do. They stopped making Camaro’s.

Ken, I believe you know the answer to that as well as I do.
Let Mopar go on a two or three race win streak and, instead of telling the Brand Xs to up their game, NHRA will penalize the Mopars as sure as the sunrise.

If the new car was built for Factory Stock, then 7.50 is the limit. I know those old wounds haven't healed, but if MOPAR thought that NHRA was out to get them, why would they keep investing in the sport?

I would be more excited if they made a street version 2 door Charger.

They do, but you plug it in...

I think PS had a great resurgence when the ability to run almost anything was the winning ticket. Seeing an Oldsmobile (GM) race a Camaro (also GM) or a Thunderbird race an Escort or a... well, you get the idea.
Since Camaros are out of the equation, let the racers determine what they want to run and give them all the factory support that is available. This is some of the closest-to-factory racing in a professional series for domestic manufacturers; somewhere there is a disconnect. Find that and fix the problem.
