Will anyone make a full pass at Phoenix ???? (41 Viewers)

It is going to be hot hot hot. Looking like 105.
I’m probably going to take a lot of heat for this but in my humble opinion the following should have no problems qualifying:
T/F - Doug Kalitta, Shawn Langdon, Justin Ashley, Tony Stewart, Clay Millican, Josh Hart, Maddii Gordon, Antron Brown, Billy Torrence and Leah Pruett
F/C - Jack Beckman, Daniel Wilkerson, Paul Lee, Chad Green, Matt Hagan, Jordan Vandergriff, Ron Capps, JR Todd and Alexis DeJoria
The rest of the T/F and F/C fields will be a hit or miss smokers.

They should all qualify there are not 16 cars, are there ?? or do I detect sarcasm...............
I will be in Phoenix but not sure if I want to be out in that heat.

30-35 degrees above normal for the entire southwest and south-central United States with no relief in sight thanks to a huge, high-pressure system that just won't break up. We'll hit 100 this weekend here; normal temp this time of year is high 60s. Hottest February and March in recorded history and no significant rain in months.

They should run that race from 5pm to 11pm all 3 days. Of course they won't; they can't. But a lot of people would support it if they did. An old NHRA Drag Racing game featured one national event inside an enclosed climate-controlled dome. I enjoyed racing there. :)

Denver to be in the mid 80's today. We should be racing here already.
Average high for Denver on this date is 58. It'll be 91 there tomorrow. I've been to Bandimere quite a few times, a couple of when it was in the high 90s and the DA was nearly 11,000 feet. No wind and no cloud cover. As beautiful of a setting as Bandimere was, that was one miserable Sunday for all involved. We're talking before they installed the track cooling system.

But you do what you gotta do. 4.20 may be quick enough to win Top Fuel in Phoenix Sunday but whoever runs that 4.20 will be just as happy as they would with a 3.65.
