Anybody catch the show? Tim hinted of bringing Daniel in for a 2 car team for Norwalk. Bruton Smith was also interviewed prior to Tim. Dave asked about the 4-lane strip and Bruton's reply was that he wanted all 4 lanes running (at the same time). He said he didn't have approval from NHRA to do it YET.

heck, back when at some tracks, 4 lanes going at the same time happened a lot, so its not a new idea.Of course good luck trying to get nhra's approval for it. I also noticed Bruton Smith said he would maybe try it in stock before he would get try it in any of the nitro cars.

As always, Wilk did a great job and it was cool seeing him on the show. Also, the interview with Bruton was interesting. Kind of neat that he's building a 4 lane track. I think it would be great for running the slower cars, it could add a little spice to the classes that don't get as much attention from the fans, and what a way to zip through Super classes where you have a ton of cars. Dave asked him about his intentions regarding purchasing the NHRA, and Bruton said while he is asked that very often, for the time being he is focused on the racetrack business, and buying the NHRA is way back on the burner. That's what he said at least.
