Hey Joe,

Lee Beard tunes for Antron. If your comment is meant to get a response from a person that actually works on the car, it isn't going to be here. I am sure Lee will answer your questions should you contact him directly.

OR....was the comment not meant for someone who knows the answer??????

Don't know how a Lee Beard car causes a mess like that! That was a disgrace, I haven't seen any car do that in 10 years!

What was really strange about both oildowns was they hit both lanes. The second one was wet from the wall to the stripe in the other lane!

It was strange, and worse, they seemed to take forever to clean up. I honor the Safety Safari, and appreciate everything they do, but in both cases they seemed to get the whole thing cleaned up -- only to discover "oops, we missed a spot (lane)". And the whole cleanup started again.

I know they have to clean carefully. I know it's only fair that they work to make the lanes equally great and safe. And they've been doing a great job. But, my word, it seems like it takes longer and longer every time... Is there ever any reason why a cleanup has to take almost an hour?

And it wouldn't be anywhere near so painful if someone would kidnap the Geico/Powerade idiots, duct tape them up, and hide them in a porta-potty somewhere... :)

The best bet would be for David Powers to fire that amature and get someone in there with some real experience!

Everybody thinks Hour long delays are no biggy till they have to sit through them! I don't recall any of the DSR, JFR, Pedregon, Worsham teams doing this! Sounds like they have a problem over there!

I'd like to KNOCK OVER that Afghani Space Shuttle, with them in it, or better yet, blow it up. I am not advocating violence on them, but DAMN they are the model of annoyance aren't they? When they throw stuff into the crowd and whoop and holler it up like crazed idiots at a Hanna Montana concert, I want to return fire... by throwing hammmers back at 'em. "Hey catch THIS Powerade waterheads!!"

If nhra wants to save some $$, then DROP this, they are a pain. Why nhra thinks there has to be non stop chatter on the P.A. is beyond me. During down or slow time is when you can visit with the friends yer with, discuss the runs you just saw, ect.

Do they (nhra) think we're going to go home if they don't keep our attention??
