You have to love that guy. If he shows up, everyone will make sure he is running. He made more races this year than he has in the last few. I wonder if he is just warming up?:)

Hey Dickie Venables and Kurt Elliot. If your not doing anything yet! Could you maybe go over to the Greeks pit and help him out. For the fun of it like it used to be.;)

Man he was flying for his operation. Anybody know?...
Tim Finley has been running the car for several years ,
the Greek still tunes , but in the past years the parts have been older than him (in Nitro years).
Chris has stepped up on some better pieces , and Bode Smith has been helping out with tuning suggestions.

Big differnce has to be in the parts... Tim and the others he has had helping him are no slouches when it comes to work and tuning....

Greek did have some newer looking parts on the car at Reading. Cool to see a 79 year old man, and a crew of 4 working out of an ancient Chapparal running decent numbers with the rest of the Top Fuel World.

I'm just so happy that he stopped guessing at the amber. This is not a dig at this great racer either; he openly admitted a couple of years ago that he was simply taking a shot everytime.

He's got a chance when he goes green! The captain of the Greek Fleet...gotta love him.

Brand new pipe, he also sold one his boats to buy new parts.

The Greek and Haddock each bought one of Scotty's last TF cars from the Torco deal.

John Smith spent a weekend at the Greek's helping the team go through their stuff and he set up their clutches for them. He attended the race at Martin with the team and helped tune at Brainerd over the phone (John was in Europe helping Stig).

The Greek gets help from all the bigger teams. He is an icon of the sport and everyone wants to see him do well.
