Who are 2026 full time nitro teams we know about? (2 Viewers)

Here is what it says on the Ford Racing site regarding the 2026 Season Launch. Funny thing is that Bob Tasca isn't even mentioned:

The livestream, which starts at 7:00 p.m. ET, will be split into two parts. The first will be focused on Ford Racing team and program announcements for 2026. A surprise special guest will act as our host for the evening, joined by familiar Ford faces on the stage including CEO of Ford Motor Company Jim Farley, Global Director of Ford Racing Mark Rushbrook and Executive Chair of Ford Motor Company, Bill Ford. An exciting lineup of drivers will also join the stage including Bailey Campbell, Joey Logano, Josh Berry, Chris Buescher, Logan Sargeant, Mike Rockenfeller, Sebastian Priaulx, Ryan Blaney with a special appearance from Ford Ambassador Daniel Ricciardo and Ford Chief Program Engineer Arie Groeneveld.

Part 2 of the evening, scheduled to begin around 10:00 p.m. ET[TM1] , will focus on Formula One with team announcements and the 2026 Oracle Red Bull Racing livery reveal. Our special guest host will return to the stage alongside ESPN’s Nicole Briscoe to host Team Principle and CEO of Oracle Red Bull Racing Laurent Mekies, joined by Jim Farley and Mark Rushbrook. Others appearing on stage include, Max Verstappen, Isack Hadjar, Liam Lawson, Arvid Lindblad, Pierre Wache, Alisha Palmowski, Peter Bayer, Alain Permane, and Rafaela Ferreira. Other special appearances include Ben Hodgkinson, Callum Nichols, and Christian Hertrich.

We look forward to a fun and exciting Season Launch. Stay tuned and catch all the action on our social channels and at fordracing.com.

Thanks Michael, I don't have time to sit through all of that. I'll just check back on the Mater later.

Thanks Mike. Watched the entire program to hear one sentence announcing Austin. Oh well, got updated on Ford racing. BTW, Bob Tasca was mentioned "in the house".
That was not unexpected by us here, but still kind of disappointing in that we have not gained a funny car team that I can see. Just personnel switching owners and team umbrellas. Was hoping Tasca was going to field a 2-car team, but we would have heard rumblings about that in the last few weeks if it was going to happen.

interesting that we haven't heard more speculation and theories on here about why Tasca is stepping away......
Bobs business empire in the northeast is expanding and booming. From the dealerships to the fleet vehicle expansion to real estate the man's making a killing. I think with that kind of empire you need to manage it and being in the car effected that

I'll give you my humble .02 on why Bob stepped down. First he promised FORD a championship if they returned to drag racing and failed. Therefore he is banking on the Procks to fulfill his promise. Second the announcement by FORD at their event was only 10 - 15 seconds, BT3 and Austin were in the crowd and not on stage. That tells me that the financial support is probably very little compared to all the other racing venues that were highlighted that night. Three John Force and BT3 were close, perhaps BT3 knows more about Johns TBI than any of us. BT3 is the heir to the TASCA Auto Group a dealership group of 37 dealers spread over sever states with an estimated yearly revenue of 87 - 100 Million. Perhaps Johns injuries left a little less desire for BT3 to drive and more desire to be just a team owner. Only time will tell if a second dark horse mustang will be fielded by Tasca auto group.

and just maybe the money isn't right to run 2 cars and or he wants to give Thomas one more year under Jimmy.
