As the field of vintage drag race vehicles returning to the sport expands (now funny cars, next - pro stock) a level of "creativity" attends many of those projects that needs attention. Recently, a group of agenda-free folks got together to specifically address a practical means by which to identify varying results of a vintage drag race vehicle project.
Their consensus has been digested into the sport's first-ever "White Paper" released yesterday by the Quarter Mile Foundation, an arm of Project 1320. These are NOT racing rules but a means by which to identify and designate.
