We all know his winning history. And the man has been called the best natural racer of this era by Mike Dunn. I think most of us would agree. SOOO… what the hell is happening??? He is not even a blip on the screen this year. And Dunn or Page or anyone here have not uttered a peep about it. The man has fallen off the radar. The car is not performing. No one is talking about why. Im not gonna go back and check but i dont think hes won a round this year. How can a great racer disappear in the collective consiousness

I think it is because they are running their own engine program. Maybe he should have leased engines from AJ for a year or 2 before they caught up.

Short on power, short on chassis set up.

The guy with the steering wheel is not the problem.

with Roy Johnson power he would be the one to beat. But, as previously mentioned ,they are doing their own engine program, which is the hardest thing to do in Pro Stock. Don't forget Jeg beat Dave at Indy...... in stock;)

Nick Ferri is one of the lead engineers for the JNR in-house motor program, and some of you hardcore fans might recognize Nick's name from when he was the head of Mike Edwards engine program a couple of years back when Edwards was lighting up the scoreboard on the way to his Championship. Nick is a smart guy, and I don't think they are too far off in terms of power production on the Jeg's team. From what I've seen all year, car management and handling has been their main downfall, and they have been creeping up on their gremlins. I'd look for this team to do a ton of R & D in the offseason, and be a major threat to win several races next year.

Jeg's driving speaks for itself.

Yeah Jeg certainly is not the problem. These things don't happen overnight. Ask AJ, Erica, Edwards or any other successful team in Pro Stock.
